Montgomery Trees Presents
Trees For Prairie Soil
Part of a Brown Bag Lunch Series
Whether you’re a tree care professional or a homeowner, this is another workshop you won’t want to miss so pack up your lunch and join us on August 3rd!
While it may seem that the only trees that can grow in our alkaline clay soils are hackberries and popcorn trees, there ARE several species of nice shade trees that will work just fine.
This workshop covers the trees capable of living and thriving on these difficult sites.
We will discuss their appearance, growth habits, fall color, and other attributes, helping you to pick the perfect tree for our less than perfect soil.
Many thanks to MAX Credit Union for being our Venue Sponsor for the August Workshop.
Please look for directional signs when arriving at the venue. Our meeting space is at the back of the MAX branch located at 400 Eastdale Circle in Montgomery. Please park here and enter thru the door on your left – not the main back entrance to the bank.
