Montgomery Trees promotes our urban forest in many ways. We present programs to the neighborhood, government, and civic organizations about the value that trees add to our communities.

You’re never too young to be a good steward of the Earth!

Each year we conduct a seedling giveaway during Arbor Week in Alabama, handing out thousands of tree seedlings to local residents. We also promote our urban forest nationwide through the Arbor Day Foundations Tree City USA and Tree Campus USA programs.

Our Legacy Tree program facilitates commemorating people and events by planting trees in their honor. These urban forest enhancement programs are vastly improving the face of our fair city, making Montgomery a cleaner and nicer place to live.

The urban forest consists of ALL trees within the city, including those on private property. We help protect our forest by conducting free tree care seminars throughout the year.

These programs are offered to private citizens as well as tree care and landscape professionals in an effort to ensure that all trees within the city get the proper care.
