Legacy treeOne of the kindest ways to commemorate someone special is to plant a tree in their honor. Montgomery Trees facilitates this through its Legacy Tree Project.

For a contribution of $275.00, Montgomery Trees will plant a 2.5 inch caliper tree and install a custom engraved plaque on public property (such as a park or street right-of-way), or at a church or public institution by special arrangement.

Each Legacy Tree is maintained throughout its lifetime and falls under the care of Montgomery’s urban forester. In addition to adding to the beauty of the city, these trees help us care for our environment by purifying the air we breathe and the water we drink.

Commemorating someone with a Legacy Tree honors them by making a lasting aesthetic and environmental improvement for us all to enjoy.
