With help from The Dream Marches On Youth Day of Service, Montgomery Tree’s Take Root program is installing 27 Chinese pistache trees at Five Points in Downtown Montgomery.

Located between Cottage Hill Historic District and Troy’s Downtown campus, this street tree project completes the effort to make the Voting Rights Trail a tree lined avenue through Montgomery.

By making Five Points a shady, green, pedestrian friendly location, this project helps to “prime the pump” for much anticipated redevelopment of this valuable area of real estate. And if you like it now, wait until you see it this fall…
